Japanese Garden

I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed my jog today. I began with a non-stop 2 km run, which was pretty quick, and continued with another 4km walk-jog. I wanted to explore more of Chinese Garden today, but the site was filled with primary/elementary school kids having field trip. There were more than 400 of them and they were split in to groups of 6 to 10. What amazed me was that each group had their own iPad as guide! Time has really changed huh?

Anyway, I took pictures of Japanese Garden today. A beautiful garden and even quieter compared to Chinese Garden (without the kids).

I saw some photographers walking around the garden with their DSLR and tripods. There were also bird watchers and old folks who were enjoying the late morning at the sheltered areas. There is a small pond in the garden, not connected to the main lake, that has an island in the middle. I think the island is necessary, so there can be pretty Japanese styled bridges connecting the main garden to it. The pond is just a simple pond, not too deep, but perfect for small fresh water fish like Mujair and turtles! I saw four turtles sunbathing on a log. Two of them jump straight back into the water when I got too close.

Here is the pagoda I visited last week seen from Japanese Garden, which is connected by a bridge from Chinese Garden.
