About

Traveling is just one of perks of life which I want to experience. I’m grateful to have been able to experience it. It would be a part of my story, a journey of many stories. And just like our ancestors who engraved stories on cave walls not knowing what the future will hold, I want to share mine on this blog. It would be proof that I set foot in many cities with stories much different with mine, but with the same subject, living life. Because at the bottom line, we are living on the same Earth. It is just plain sad to me to leave the only home I would have ever had without really seeing what it looks like.

Life is short. If I learn anything from books and movies, most stories are about people taking chances in life. They made the choice to take those chances. They make their stories worthy of telling. I want to have stories of my own. Hopefully, I will see enough of the world to my own satisfaction. But clearly, it would never be enough. One step at a time.

Compared to many experienced travelers/writers on WordPress, I am relatively new to travel journalism, but have always been fascinated by it. Born in Indonesia and currently living in Singapore, I am thankful to be able to see the beauty of nearby countries like Malaysia, Thailand and Cambodia since the start of 2014. Taiwan is where the writing began. I learned so much from traveling to all these places and from experiencing new things. I enjoy writing about places I visited and reading from blogs on the same interest.

I wish to have my blog to inspire other normal people to travel the way I do. Also, my writing is not just simply a piece of writing. I want to improve my writing skills, in any way I can. I enjoy every part of it and I want to do more of it in the future. Pictures on this blog are all mine.

  1. Absolutely love that first photo on this page 🙂 We have never been to Taiwan but it seems to keep popping up on our radar lately!! Will head off to read your posts to see if it should be our destination for next year….

    1. Yeah, Taiwan was great. I only visited taipei and a day trip outside of the city. But there was so much to explore, and the 5 days I was there weren’t enough. I read about southern Taiwan, and it’s even more beautiful.

      Thanks for visiting my blog!
