18 Things To Do in Jogjakarta

Jogjakarta is one of the travel paradise of Indonesia. Its close proximity to East Java, home of beautiful volcanoes and beaches, and the famous Bali island with all the amazing surrounding islands made it a must-visit destination. You get to experience the culture and the humility of its locals (Trust me, they are unlike the city people in Jakarta or any other big cities in Indonesia). Plus, you get to go back to the past with Borobudur and Prambanan temples, two of the UNESCO World Heritage sites, just an hour away from the city. Continue reading “18 Things To Do in Jogjakarta”

5 Travel Collectibles

I’m always collecting stuff. No, I’m not a hoarder. I stopped the habit recently because of limited space in my backpack. Also, something about writing helps me to buy less souvenirs when traveling. I guess I just needed something to bring back home. Continue reading “5 Travel Collectibles “

14 Links for Singaporean to explore Singapore

I always say that I want to explore the city, but I never do. From time to time, I come across articles that made it even easier for me to explore Singapore. But still, I don’t seem to start. Then my friends would acknowledge the posts by clicking “Like”. Continue reading “14 Links for Singaporean to explore Singapore”

World Heritage of George Town, Penang

Visiting UNESCO heritage sites is probably one of my goals in life. (I’m not making this up. They really do fascinate me.) George Town in Penang was definitely fascinating and beautiful. I got to absorb the ambience of the place and could imagine people in the old days lived in the town; Chinese merchants, the local Malays and British that walked the streets. It was like when I visited Angkor Wat last February all over again. Continue reading “World Heritage of George Town, Penang”

FantaSea @ Phuket is a MUST

When I was planning out what to do in Phuket for a good family fun, I always came across FantaSea show. I did not know what it was, so I decided to look it up on Youtube. But the videos on Youtube fail to convince me to put FantaSea in the itinerary. I didn’t know what to expect because there seem to be no credible clip of what the show is all about. But it always ended up to be on the top 10 list of things to do in Phuket. Continue reading “FantaSea @ Phuket is a MUST”

Bintan Resorts

I’ve met many people who have tattoos all over their bodies. I don’t have tattoo on me, but I’d want to get one when I have the chance. I heard that people got their tattoos during special occasions or when they experienced something significant or simply because they were drunk. One thing that most of them told me, though, is the fact that tattoos are somehow addictive. Just like traveling. Continue reading “Bintan Resorts”
